School Students Got Acquainted with CMK Production Process
Dec 16, 2025
Stupino Metallurgical Company (CMK) regularly welcomes school pupils and students, giving them a chance to see how the production works and helping them choose their future career path.
As part of a career guidance program, 8th-grade students from Lyceum No. 1 in the city of Stupino went on an exciting excursion to CMK.
The students were given a unique opportunity to see the entire technological process of a modern metallurgical plant firsthand. Their route went through the main production workshops, where they observed high-tech equipment in operation and felt the scale and pace of a large industrial enterprise. A visit to the Сompany’s Testing Center made a particularly strong impression on the young guests. The school students saw how specialists use precise instruments and complex analyses to test the quality of finished products, ensuring their reliability and compliance with strict standards. This experience helped them realize that modern metallurgy is not only about powerful presses, furnaces, and machines, but also about advanced science, precise control, and high technologies.

A highlight of the visit was talking with the people who work at CMK. The students talked with experienced process engineers, shop-floor supervisors, and other specialists, who openly shared what their everyday work is like, the problems they solve, and how their careers developed.
Thus, the visit to CMK became a meaningful event for the lyceum students, going far beyond an ordinary school trip. It was a full day of immersion into the daily work of a modern industrial company. Such regular initiatives play an important role in building a future talent pool, helping motivated and capable school students take their first—and most important—step toward their future profession.
