«The Patriot» in the Hearts of Metallurgists

In early November, employees of CMK were given a wonderful opportunity to immerse themselves in an atmosphere of history and heroism during a fascinating trip to "Patriot", the Central Military Patriotic Park of Culture and Recreation of the Russian Federation's Armed Forces. The event was organized by CMK Primary Trade Union Organization.

The trip to Kubinka passed in a flash, leaving all participants with the most vivid impressions. Those on the cultural excursion had the chance to view large-scale exhibits dedicated to Russian military history, explore various examples of hardware and weaponry, and discover many new and interesting facts about the heroic deeds of those who had came before us.

History lives in every exhibit.

A walk through "Patriot" Park became a real immersion in the past for the Stupino metallurgists. From the majestic monuments personifying the resilience and courage of the Motherland's defenders, to the meticulously recreated battlefields – every corner of the park breathed history. The interactive zones aroused particular interest; there, one could not only see, but also touch samples of military equipment from different eras, feeling a part of the events that shaped the face of our country. The guide shared little-known facts, bringing dry figures and dates to life, making the past close and understandable.

More than just a tour…

In addition to the educational aspect, the visit offered a superb chance for informal interaction and strengthening corporate bonds. Sharing powerful emotions and discussing the exhibits - it all helped to foster a friendly and united atmosphere among colleagues. Employees from various departments got a chance to learn more about each other, exchange views, and simply unwind from the daily grind.

On their way back to Stupino, the employees not only filled their minds with bright memories, but also acquired a profound feeling of pride for their nation and its past.

"Employee welfare isn't just talk; it’s tangible actions aimed at ensuring comfortable conditions for both work and leisure. We are certain that trips like this will become a cherished tradition, bringing many more happy times to the Company's staff," stated Ekaterina Polukhina, head of CMK Primary Trade Union Organization.

Elena Nedosekina, saw operator, Workshop 960:

"The trip to 'Patriot' Park was just incredible. I absolutely loved it. What got me the most was the Main Church of the Russian Armed Forces—it’s just so huge and beautiful, totally breathtaking. The inside of the church is a real masterpiece; you can seriously feel the power and spirituality. The square around the church is also super impressive, massive and beautiful. I’m totally blown away."

"The museum complex dedicated to the Great Patriotic War made an especially strong impression. It is impossible to put into words the feelings you experience walking through the halls. It feels as if you yourself are on the front line, reliving all the hardships and deprivations of the war along with our grandparents. It is very touching and makes you think about the price of peace."
