Partnership between Education and Manufacturing
On Knowledge Day, thousands of students in Stupino returned to their school desks and classrooms. For students of School No. 9 and students of the A.T. Tumanov Technical School, this day was special: Andrey Zavrazhnov, CMK Managing Director, came to congratulate them on the beginning of the academic year. This attention is not accidental — the city-forming enterprise is actively helping young people decide on their future profession.
The Beginning of the Educational Journey
On September 1, School No. 9 hosted a solemn assembly dedicated to the start of the new academic year. Students recited poems, performed songs and dance numbers, through which they expressed their love for Russia and their school.
The honoured guest of the celebration, CMK Managing Director Andrey Zavrazhnov, speaking to the students, emphasised that September 1 is a holiday for everyone who strives for knowledge and improvement. He wished the children success in their studies and expressed the hope that they would become worthy citizens of their country.
According to a good tradition, the «Airplane of Future» campaign was held here: graduates presented first-graders with paper airplanes, on which farewell and good luck words were written for their first academic year.
Investments in Human Resources for the Region
The Stupino Technical School named after A.T. Tumanov opened its doors to 473 new students. 225 of them enrolled in training under the federal «Professionalitet» programme — this is a big step forward in training highly qualified personnel for the region.
A very exciting moment was the greeting of freshmen by the heads of partner enterprises of the technical school. This emphasised the close connection between education and real production, and also became a guarantee to students of obtaining in-demand skills and promising employment.
Andrey Zavrazhnov spoke about the opportunities that open up for graduates of the technical school and expressed readiness for active cooperation in training qualified personnel.
«Such attention from employers is a powerful incentive for students. They understand that their knowledge and skills are really needed, and that they have real prospects for employment after graduating from technical school», stressed the director of the technical school, Viktor Datskiy.
A pleasant bonus to the celebration was sweet gifts from CMK, handed over to group teachers for a festive tea party with students.
QUOTE
Andrey Zavrazhnov, Managing Director of CMK:
«We are deeply convinced that the future of our enterprise and the entire industry is inextricably linked with the development of young talents. That is why we actively cooperate with educational institutions. This is not a formality, but a strategic investment. We strive not only to provide students with relevant knowledge and skills necessary for work in modern metallurgical production, but also to help them consciously choose their professional path. Our goal is to give young people the opportunity to build a successful career here, in their hometown, becoming part of the team of one of the leading metallurgical enterprises in Russia. Together with the administration of the Stupino urban district, we will be able to educate a new generation of professionals ready for the challenges of tomorrow».
