CMK Employees and Their Children Visited the Sun Festival in the Park-Museum "ETNOMIR"

CMK pays great attention to the corporate culture and organize various events for the Company's employees. And this trip to ETHNOMIR is one more step to care not only about professional qualities of our people, but also about their rest and family leisure.
On June 21 - the day of the summer solstice, employees together with their children went on an exciting journey to the cultural and educational Park-Museum "ETHNOMIR" for the Festival of the Sun.
The event has become a bright occasion that united the colleagues and their families in an atmosphere of creativity and traditions. The guests got acquainted with the culture of different nations, learnt about the rites and holidays dedicated to the Sun around the world, and also took part in master classes, games and interactive programs.
The children and their parents enjoyed exploring the ethnic courtyards, learning about national arts and crafts and trying traditional treats. The young participants were especially delighted by the interactive programs with the Indians. They solved riddles of ancient tribes, competed in sharpshooting with a bow, and enthusiastically participated in traditional games of the indigenous peoples of America. No less memorable was the skill of weaving wreaths - the children were thrilled to put their creations on the water, watching them float away, taking with them good wishes.

A huge area for walks, fresh air, ponds, beautiful sculptures and buildings. The children especially liked the Dinopark and the "Debri" labyrinth. “The management of JSC SMK gave us an excellent opportunity to visit the ETNOMIR country complex, providing transfers on comfortable buses for employees and their children. I really enjoyed spending the whole day with my younger daughter in an interesting place where there is everything for a wonderfull holiday: architecture that conveys the culture of different peoples of the world, cafes and restaurants with national cuisines, workshops, museums, exhibitions and much more. We walked a lot, took photos, visited the master class "Clear Star", where we made a star from sticks and threads. As we were told, this is a symbol of coming changes and a happy future. We also took a photo near a huge Russian stove, which for me represents comfort, home, traditions and warmth. I hope that such trips will become a tradition, and we will have another opportunity to visit other cultural and leisure locations.
