CMK Attracts Attention
Stupino Metallurgical Company is a dynamically developing enterprise, where advanced technologies come to life. No wonder that there is constantly growing interest in the company. undefinedthe particular attention of investors and partners, but also that of future specialists. That is why CMK regularly organizes career guidance tours for students.
On June 3, students from Lukhovitsky Aviation Technical School visited the Company. The students from the first to the fourth years, accompanied by the director of the educational institution Alexander Sholokhov and teacher Olga Lazutina, traveled to the south of the Moscow region to familiarize themselves with the work of our Enterprise. A tour of three divisions was organized for the guests - Test Center-Shop No. 430, Shops Nos. 630 and 001.
- Our city is home to the Lukhovitsky Aviation Plant, which was once famous for manufacturing the legendary MIGs," said Alexander Sholokhov. - Now it is engaged in civil aviation. And, of course, we were interested in assessing the achievements of Stupino metallurgists, who also work to meet the needs of Russian aircraft builders. Perhaps, after this excursion, some of our students will want to connect their livies with your Enterprise. This is our first time at CMK, and we should note that the Enterprise is very well-maintained and the production capacity is very impressive.
The director of the Technical School explains that about 500 students are trained at the institution he heads. They master specialties in a variety of areas: aircraft construction, production of aviation equipment, mechanical engineering, information systems and programming, CNC machine operators, operation of electrical and electromechanical equipment and others. On this day, students from three courses came to CMK: mechanical engineering technology, CNC machine operators and metalworking machine tool operators.
- It is my first time at your Company and I liked it very much, especially the shop where digitally controlled machine tools are used. Even the first acquaintance with the Enterprise was enough to understand that working conditions here are good,” said Yaroslav Kharlamov, a second-year student of the specialty ‘Digitally Controlled Machine Tool Operator’.
The students got acquainted with the research capabilities of the Testing Center with great interest. They evaluated the production capacities of Shop No. 630 and the new sites of Shop No. 001.
- This is the fourth time I have been on such an excursion. The first time I visited a production facility was when I was a schoolboy. I have been to CMK Corporation, the Ryazan Metalworking Plant and the Lukhovitsky Aviation Plant. I liked your enterprise very much. It was especially interesting to observe the sound processing of parts - it was the first time I saw such a thing. I have a desire to come here to work, but feel a little hesitant about the fact that it is far from home. But during the tour we were told that the Company can compensate for the rent of housing near the workplace, so I will think about coming here to work after graduation,” said Fyodor Grachev, a second-year student specializing in ‘Digitally Controlled Machine Tool Operator’.
