On the eve of May 9, an exhibition dedicated to the 80th anniversary of the Great Victory was opened at the memorial “To Stupino Metallurgists Who Died in Fights for the Motherland”. The exposition in photos and facts tells about the invaluable contribution of Aircraft Plant No. 150 to the shared task of approaching the victorious May 1945.

The exhibition “Faces of Victory” is dedicated to the heroism of Stupino metallurgists - those who went to the front and those who forged the Victory behind the scenes. Here are the photos of veterans of the Great Patriotic War, six Heroes of the Soviet Union, who worked at the plant, whose names are forever inscribed in the history of the enterprise and the Country, toilers of the home front, who day and night at the limit of their strength were making production for the Front.

Visitors can see the unique photos and documents showing the evacuation and re-evacuation of Aircraft Plant No. 150, which can be considered a separate feat of Stupino metallurgists. Having returned to the Stupino land, the enterprise's staff restored production in record time and continued to produce the products necessary for the Front.

The best works of the contest “Children Draw the Great Victory!” occupy a special place in the exhibition. Young artists with their authentic works with touching scenes conveyed the young generation's understanding and respect for the feat of arms of the Soviet people.

The organizers of the exhibition are convinced that it will become another important reminder of the price paid by our people for a peaceful sky above our heads, and hope that acquaintance with the exhibition will become a lesson of courage and patriotism for young people, while for the older generation - an opportunity to remember their loved ones and honor the memory of the Fallen.

We invite all CMK employees and city residents and guests to visit the exhibition “Faces of Victory” and honor the memory of the Heroes. Do not miss the opportunity to touch history and pay tribute to the Heroes of the Great Victory!

The exhibit at the memorial will be on display until the end of June.
