On April 12, the date when Yuri Gagarin took the first step into the Universe, Stupino Metallurgical Company presented the city with a unique open-air Photo Exhibit. In the Ostrovsky Park of Culture and Recreation, where children's laughter and birdsongs usually sound, for one day there were stories about space feats, engineers' triumphs and the people whose labor made the dream of the stars a reality.

The guests of the exhibition learned about the key projects of the Company, such as manufacturing by Stupino metallurgists of the shell for the first artificial Earth satellite PS-1 and production of the chassis strut for the Buran spacecraft.

In addition to historical footage, the exhibition presented interesting facts about cosmonauts, the history of space exploration and modern developments in the aerospace industry. Visitors could not only see unique archive photos, but also immerse themselves in the atmosphere of space discoveries.

CMK continues to honor traditions and contribute to the development of Russia's high-tech industries, preserving the heritage and moving science forward.
