CMK opens horizons for future specialists
Attracting young personnel is an important mission for Stupino Metallurgical Company. And for a bright career at CMK it is especially important to attract the very best of Stupino youth. Such guys are the activists of the “Movement of the First”, the All-Russian Movement of Children and Youth - the largest organization of leaders of the new time. As part of the “First in the Profession” activity, a tour of the Company's workshops was organized for activists and the pupils of School No. 9, during which the ninth graders were immersed into the everyday working routine of one of the largest metallurgical companies in the Moscow Region.
A look from the inside
During their acquaintance with CMK the guys visited the large ingot foundry and melting shop No. 530, forging and pressing shop No. 630 and the shop for thermomechanical processing and delivery of special alloy products No. 001. Varvara Kochergina, one of the participants, shares her impressions:
- I know a lot of guys who want to go to technical schools and study metallurgy, so I think it's a good idea to involve young people to show them the work from the inside. During the tour I felt like I was on another planet... The equipment was amazing - I had never seen such technology before. It was curious to see how such a heavy production facility is equipped with high-tech units. I am sure that the Company's activity helps our country's economy to develop, and I am happy to see how innovations are being rapidly introduced. In the future, I would like to talk more to the people from CMK, to ask questions about the working nuances, schedule, and conditions.
History and the present
Following from shop to shop along the paths of the enterprise, the youngsters asked a lot of questions: How is the Company going to develop in the near future, How much time is spent on the production of products? Their genuine interest was fueled by fascinating stories about the history of the Company and its leading metallurgists.
Senior high school student Palat Stepanov conveyed his emotions:
- Such amazing equipment is absolutely amazing. It is an incredible magnitude that is right here in Stupino! I am very proud that the Company is developing at a rapid pace. I would like such excursions to be held as often as possible, because it is important for young people to know how exactly work goes on at Stupino's main enterprise.
Fresh ideas
At the end of the event, the activists shared their ideas for attracting young specialists. During the conversation with representatives of the management CMK the guys shared their views on the topic of career guidance, talked about the interest of Stupino youth in obtaining a metallurgical specialty. Constant dialog with young people and openness to new ideas allow Stupino Metallurgical Company to look confidently into the future, ensuring sustainable development of the Company and the entire Stupino urban district.
