In Stupino the interim results of the Spartakiade among the teams of school sports clubs were summarized. The event took place in the Bobrov Ice Palace of Sports.

The participants of the Spartakiada are students of seventeen schools of our district. The prize fund of the competition is 200 thousand rubles, which will be shared by the winners of the urban and rural sectors of the Spartakiada. Mikhail Kakovin, CMK Deputy Director for Economics and Chairman of the Council for Youth and Sports, who was present at the ceremony, reminded that the Company is a Partner of the Spartakiada, therefore the metallurgists have prepared 1600 medals and 66 cups for the participants.

Schoolchildren of different ages and training levels take part in the Spartakiada. The competitions include twelve sports such as soccer, basketball, volleyball, athletics and others.

As a result of a tense struggle, according to the results of the interim results, the team of secondary school No. 9 won. The second place was taken by the athletes of secondary school No. 5. The third step of the podium was taken by the team of school No. 8.

Summarizing the interim results was an important stage that allowed not only to note the merits of the teams, but also to identify the leaders in various categories. All participants are united by one thing - the desire for self-improvement and the desire to contribute to the development of sports culture in the district.

We remind, that the Spartakiada is held throughout the school year, and will end with the traditional May Day track and field relay race.

According to the results of the first stage of the Sportakiada schoolchildren received from Stupino metallurgists medals and cups with a total weight of 62 kg.
