Beautiful Victory

On August 24, amateur teams played football for the Cup of the Head of Stupino Urban District. Amateur football teams from CMK, SMPP, Stupino Technical School, and FC Kashira competed in the tournament.

The teams played on a round robin system - two halves of 15 minutes without a break. The players were supported by their faithful fans.

In all three games, the team of Stupino metallurgists confidently dominated over the opponents, beating them without a draw: in the match CMK - FC Kashira with a score of 3 : 0, CMK - CMPP - 1 : 0 and in the final meeting made a big finish, ending the match with the students from the Technical School with a score of 2:0.

The final standings look like this:

CMK - 9 points

SMPP - 6 points

Technical School - 3 points

FC “Kashira” - 0 points

The champion of the Cup of the Head of Stupino Urban District in football became the team of CMK.

The winners and medalists were congratulated by Ruslan Gimazov, Head of the Department of Physical Culture and Sports. He noted that on this day all athletes showed worthy results, but the victory went to the strongest.

And Stupino metallurgists continued preparations for a friendly match with the team of SMPP, scheduled for the Day of Stupino city.

Stupino metallurgists team Coach Konstantin Ulyanov commented very briefly but convincingly on the outcome of this game day:

- We have put together a good squad of seventeen players. Thanks to timely substitutions, everyone played on the field. The guys were great, they fought with dedication and focus on winning. Their result is on the scoreboard.
