The employees of our company and all specialists in the field of metallurgy celebrated their professional holiday in July
Congratulations and letters of appreciation were addressed to the employees of CMK in honor of the Metallurgist's Day. The celebration took place on July 18 in the Palace of Culture in Stupino. More than one hundred and fifty well-deserved awards were presented to the company's specialists.
Labor valor of metallurgists
Traditionally, the celebration of metallurgists in our city gathers a huge number of industry professionals and guests.
It was noted at the celebration that the glorious pages of our city have been inseparably connected with CMK for almost 90 years. Assignment of the title "City of Labor Valor" to the city is to a great extent the recognition of great merits of Stupino metallurgists, who at the cost of health and life forged the victory during the Great Patriotic War.
The metallurgists were congratulated by Sergey Muzhalskikh, Head of the District, Secretary of the local branch of the United Russia party.
- Probably, there is not a single family in the city, which in different periods of time would not have been linked to the metallurgical plant. The labor feat of metallurgists during the Great Patriotic War is immortalized on the stele "City of Labor Valor", the title of which Stupino was awarded in 2022. Today the enterprise continues the traditions laid down by the founders of the city and is a leading Russian manufacturer of high-tech components for various industries, - said Sergei Muzhalskikh. The head wished the metallurgists peace, health, luck and new successes.
Proud to carry on the tradition
Andrey Zavrazhnov, CMK Managing Director, presented multiple high awards to the company's employees at the celebration. He reminded that the main goal of metallurgists today is the revival of the Russian aircraft industry.
- In my opinion, metallurgy occupies a special place in our lives. I was born into a family of metallurgists, and I am proud to continue the traditions of my family. When I came to work at Stupino Metallurgical Company, I realized that I got a lucky ticket, because the level and scale of the tasks we are facing now are huge. In fact, we are facing the task of reviving the metallurgical industry in Russia, and all our efforts will be focused in this direction. I have no doubt that we will accomplish all these tasks, because there are no tasks that metallurgists can't cope with, that they can't handle," said the head of the enterprise.
Most of the specialists awarded today are not just advanced workers and honored people. Many of them have given practically their whole life to the enterprise. Their studies are connected with the plant, often colleagues become best friends, and families grow out of working interaction.
- I am with CMK for 37 years now and all these years I have been working in the quality system of the enterprise. After technical school, I worked for two years in the laboratory of the Testing Center, then in Shop 41 at the aluminum foundry and in Shop 63. I have been working at the same place for 37 years for a reason. I like stability and discipline at CMK, I like the team very much. My husband also works at the enterprise, now he is being at work, he works in shop No. 630. We met at the enterprise, after our studies we worked on machine tools, later we received housing from CMK. My relatives also worked here. Our whole life is connected with the plant. Today I would like to wish my colleagues health, stability, and that we all support each other, - said Lyubov Naumova, controller of forging-press production at Shop No. 500.
Production growth
Roman Modzgvrishvili, Deputy General Director of AMR-CMK Management Company, reminded the metallurgists about the development of aircraft building and space industry in Russia.
- Every year we honor metallurgists, people of a wonderful but difficult profession. People who create the future, new materials, new technologies, new products that the country needs, that people in all industries need. People thanks to whom airplanes take to the skies, spaceships fly and Russia's defense shield is strengthened, - Roman Modzgvrishvili added to the congratulations.
Dmitry Mikhailov, CMK Production Director, also congratulated the Company's employees. He presented the specialists of the divisions with certificates of honor from the administration of the enterprise, certificates of honorary title "CMK Veteran of Labor" and memorable gifts. In his congratulatory speech he noted that today the Company is planning to increase production, new investments will allow to expand the line of products, create reserve capacities and develop production in high-tech areas. Also this year the enterprise will start receiving new CNC machines and furnaces.
Young and pro-active
The Company's employees were congratulated by Elena Vyshivanyuk, Chairman of the Moscow Regional Trade Union Organization.
- It is a great honor for me today, in the City of Labor Valor, to congratulate the glorious metallurgists on their professional holiday. Almost 700,000 people work in our country's mining and metallurgical complex. More than half of them are members of the Mining and Metallurgical Trade Union of Russia, who work at 350 enterprises in 53 regions of the country. Today we need to be together more than ever, and one of the institutions that helps us to unite is the institute of social partnership - the interaction between the authorities, employers and trade unions, - said Elena Vyshivanyuk, Chairman of the Moscow Regional Organization of the Mining and Metallurgical Trade Union of Russia. She also noted that Stupino Metallurgical Company was one of the first companies in the industry to establish a Youth and Sports Council, which works fruitfully, attracting new specialists and organizing sports and cultural events for employees.
- In 1984, I graduated from the Stupino branch of MATI, immediately after that I came to work at Shop No. 510, and this year it will be 40 years since I have been working in the same shop. I started as a heat treatment engineer, and now I am a quality engineer. We have a very good team in the shop, young people come in, but we still have the backbone. I would not change such a team for anything. When I came to the plant, I immediately became deputy secretary of the Komsomol organization for ideology. At that time there were 1500 employees in the shop and 450 of them were Komsomol members. We traveled to different cities, Tbilisi, Lviv, Tallinn, - says one of the awardees at the celebration - Larisa Karpova, quality engineer of the 1st category of shop No. 510.
Alexey Komarov, CMK Director for Finance, and Nina Semenova, Deputy Chairman of the Stupino City District Council of Representatives, also congratulated the metallurgists of Stupino on this day. He wished the attendees of the celebration to achieve all their goals, to successfully continue the traditions of their predecessors and to enjoy personal prosperity.
