Education and Production: A New Model of Interaction
Apr 10, 2024
Cooperation between enterprises and educational institutions is a two-way process. An academic partner benefits in many ways, for example, it establishes continuous networking of students with specialized companies, strengthens the research base, and expands the opportunities for practical skills of students. The most important argument in favor of such cooperation is the opportunity to find young and talented specialists. After all, students who undergo internships or participate in practical projects may become future employees of the company.
The event that took place on April 10 in the walls of the Tumanov's Stupino Technical School became truly significant. The signing of agreements on educational partnership in Metallurgy and Mechanical Engineering took place here.

The agreements were signed by CMK represented by Managing Director Andrey Zavrazhnov, SMPP was represented by Managing Director Vadim Nazarenko, and Stupino Technical School named after A.T. Tumanov was represented by Director Viktor Datsky. The Agreement provides for the development of scientific, production, information and business contacts between leading enterprises and the technical school.
"Our Company today is working on the implementation of a large-scale production program in the amount of about 10 billion rubles. And its realization will largely depend on the degree of preparedness and practical skills of young workers who will work at the machines. That is why we asked the Stupino Technical School to cooperate with us, to which the management of the educational institution readily responded. We discussed ways of cooperation and outlined steps that will help to identify initiative, talented young people ready to join the team of Stupino metallurgists. This is the organization of personal scholarships for students, guarantees of practice and employment and much more", - said Andrey Zavrazhnov.
Director of Stupino Technical School Victor Datsky noted that the main task of the concluded agreement is to maximize the approximation of the system of middle-level personnel training in specific production areas.
"This will not only ensure that industries in need are provided with workers, but also that our graduates are employable. Students will study not for employment in an abstract job, but for a specific place in specific companies. And I am very pleased that our city-forming enterprises, CMK" and SMPP, are interested in qualified graduates of Stupino Technical School", - emphasized the Head of the educational institution.
Vadim Nazarenko, Managing Director of SMPP, reminded that in the Soviet time the prestige of working professions was by far higher than it is today.
"Our task is to raise it again so that young people want and are able to work at the machine with their own hands, as such labor remains the most valuable. To understand their potential it is important to see the result of their own labor, and we are ready to provide industrial practice, excursions to assembly shops to help each young employee see that a share of their labor is in the finished machine," said Vadim Nazarenko.
The strategic partners were given a tour of the workshops and laboratories of the Technical School, where the latest equipment and the system of personnel training were demonstrated. The impressive training base of the technical school showed that all opportunities for successful employment are available for students today, allowing them to become real specialists in their field, love their work and be in demand in the professsional market.
