As the New Year approached, Stupino metallurgists once again shared warmth and kindness with children from local social institutions by preparing special holiday gifts for them. Year after year, CMK continues to support the children of the special boarding school and those cared for by the Preobrazhenie Family and Children’s Support Center, making sure they feel remembered and cared for.

As the most magical holiday of the year crept closer, it sparked a full-on musical showdown at CMK! The Company threw a bright, feel-good celebration for its employees — a themed quiz with a catchy name: “New Year’s. Russian. Musical.”

Right in the middle of the winter break, the main hall of the Palace of Culture was packed with young viewers. CMK put together a New Year’s event for its employees’ kids, taking them to the musical fairy-tale show “Once Upon a Time, in a Kingdom…”.

From the bottom of my heart, I wish you a very Happy New Year and a Merry Christmas! The outgoing year has been truly landmark for us. The defining event that will forever be etched in the history of Russian aviation and our Company was the successful flight of the Superjet prototype powered by the new Russian PD-8 engines.

On the New Year Eve, a festive concert for the employees of the city-forming Company took place in Stupino. The event brought together CMK employees in the main hall of the Palace of Culture.

On December 19, an important meeting was held with our key partner in youth workforce development. Andrey Zavrazhnov, CMK Managing Director, and Viktor Datskiy, Director of the Tumanov Technical College, discussed specific steps to train highly qualified specialists for a modern metallurgical enterprise.

November holidays for the employees' children of CMK turned into a real adventure, filled with creativity and vivid events. Thanks to the initiative of the Company's Primary Trade Union Organization, a unique multi-day program "City Discoverers. Art Immersion" was organized for the children at "Nika" art gallery in Stupino.

CMK has become one of the key participants in the main industrial event of the year — the International Industrial Exhibition "Metal-Expo'2025". The event took place in the modern exhibition complex "Expoforum" in St. Petersburg, the exhibition broke all records, bringing together on one platform over 800 companies from Russia, China, India, Iran, Belarus, Turkey, EU countries, and Asia, as well as more than 25,000 experts. For CMK, this event was marked not only by a bright presentation, but also by significant business meetings and well-deserved recognition at the highest level.

In early November, employees of CMK were given a wonderful opportunity to immerse themselves in an atmosphere of history and heroism during a fascinating trip to "Patriot", the Central Military Patriotic Park of Culture and Recreation of the Russian Federation's Armed Forces. The event was organized by CMK Primary Trade Union Organization.

In October, the Stupino Metallurgical Company, for the first time in its history, opened its doors to the young guests aged 9 to 14 — the children of CMK employees. The children were able to see where their parents work and experience the world of large-scale production.

On Knowledge Day, thousands of students in Stupino returned to their school desks and classrooms. For students of School No. 9 and students of the A.T. Tumanov Technical School, this day was special: Andrey Zavrazhnov, CMK Managing Director, came to congratulate them on the beginning of the academic year. This attention is not accidental — the city-forming enterprise is actively helping young people decide on their future profession.

Stupino metallurgists took part in the celebration of the Day of Physical Culture. As part of the event, a mass race was held in the Ostrovsky Park of Culture and Leisure. Applications for participation in the competition were submitted by about 300 professional athletes, sports and physical culture enthusiasts, and healthy lifestyle adherents of various ages.

In the Ostrovsky Park of Stupino, a photo exhibition "CMK: ENERGY OF METAL" has opened, timed to coincide with Metallurgist's Day. The exhibition is dedicated to the people whose selfless service has become the economic prosperity of our district.

An ambitious project aimed at providing the metallurgical industry with highly qualified specialists has been launched in Stupino. Stupino Technical School named after A.T. Tumanov and three key enterprises of the district – CMK, SMPP and Aerosila – have joined forces within the framework of the federal program “Professionality”, which is part of the national project “Youth and Children”.

Every year on June 22 our country recalls the tragic events of the beginning of the Great Patriotic War. It is in honor of those horrible minutes that Russia holds numerous memorial events. Stupino metallurgists traditionally take an active part in such solemn events.

On the eve of May 9, an exhibition dedicated to the 80th anniversary of the Great Victory was opened at the memorial “To Stupino Metallurgists Who Died in Fights for the Motherland”. The exposition in photos and facts tells about the invaluable contribution of Aircraft Plant No. 150 to the shared task of approaching the victorious May 1945.
