About 500 participants - residents of the district - took to the distance of the Victory Run to honor the memory of the Heroes of the Great Patriotic War.

Patriotic youth action “We remember the feat at the front! We remember the feat on the homeland!”, dedicated to the Victory in the Great Patriotic War, was held in Stupino on the Eve of May 9. It was attended by about a thousand people: representatives of the district administration, deputy corps, members of the local branch of the Association of Veterans of the Soviet Union, volunteers, Young Guard, members of military-patriotic associations, activists of the local branch of the United Russia party, schoolchildren, students, employees of industrial enterprises, including sixty CMK representatives.

Children Drawing the Great Victory!
The results of the contest “Children Draw the Great Victory!” dedicated to the 80th Anniversary of the Victory in the Great Patriotic War have been finalized. The creative works of the participants reminded all of us how important it is to keep the memory of the feat of our ancestors. This year 45 young artists aged 6 to 18 took part in the contest. Through the drawings children expressed their gratitude to veterans and felt a sense of belonging to the historical memory. Each work became a bridge between the past and the future, reminding us that the heroes of the Great Patriotic War live in our hearts.

Such guys are the activists of the “Movement of the First”, the All-Russian Movement of Children and Youth - the largest organization of leaders of the new time. 150 people - 10 teams of 15 athletes each - became participants of the “Pancake Relay”, which opened the “Sunny Shrovetide” holiday in the Nikolai Ostrovsky Park of Culture and Recreation. The Relay Race started at 10 a.m. from the small stage of the park.
