Congratulations on the Knowledge Day!

Yesterday, the doors of all educational institutions were opened again to give a start to the new academic year! Knowledge Day is always solemn, tremulous, exciting, especially for parents whose children enter schools for the first time and begin to discover a new world of knowledge, new themselves and new friends, growing up, overcoming difficulties and conquering new heights. Since 1984, September 1 has been declared a national holiday — the Knowledge Day.

And still, September 1 is a festive day for all schoolchildren, students and their parents. First-graders are greeted with special solemnity in schools. This year, the school doors opened for 2 million first-graders across Russia. In Stupino municipality, over 1,500 children went to the first grade. Among them are 46 children of Stupino metallurgists, who, like millions of young Russians, entered a new school life with bright bouquets and large book bags.

Major preparatory work was done by parents to purchase school supplies, uniforms, notebooks, stationery, school shoes and many other attributes, without which one cannot imagine the life of a school student. Due to the restrictions associated with the coronavirus, in many schools of the municipality, festive opening exercises were held only for grades 1 and 11. Mass school-wide events have been canceled.

New in this academic year will be the extended educational programs, in some schools, the development of financial competence in algebra lessons and the creation of specialized psychological and pedagogical classes will start.
