Metallurgist Day 2022 Gala Night

Metallurgist Day Gala Night was held in Stupino Community Center. Here, the veterans of the industry gathered – the merited metallurgists who have built the town, the guests of honor and the employees of Stupino Metallurgical Company (CMK).

Sergey Muzhalskikh, the Head of Stupino Municipality, congratulated Stupino metallurgists on their professional day.

– Our town is growing and developing. Stupino Metallurgical Company is the backbone enterprise. Over a half of the town residents have worked at the Company. During war, Stupino workers had remarkable feats of labor, and it is them who brought it the distinguished title of the Town of Labor Valor, – said the Head of Stupino Municipality, Secretary of Edinaia Rossiia Party local office.

The congratulations were continued by Vitaly Shmelev, CMK General Director.

– The metallurgy has been and still remains the foundation for the development of the country's economic potential. The work of metallurgists is associated with a number of science-intensive, high-tech and responsible industries. To meet the challenges of the time, the industry requires highly qualified specialists and state-of-the-art equipment. In recent years, the metallurgy has been modernizing and re-equipping its production facilities. Despite the complications encountered during the pandemic, the Company managed to put a fairly large number of world-class equipment into operation, – said the chief executive of the Company.

When congratulating the colleagues on their professional day, Vitaly Shmelev, CMK General Director, noted the major steps taken by the Company in terms of the technical upgrade.

– The enormous amount of work performed allowed us not only to maintain, but to increase the volume of products released. We have become the key suppliers of high-tech science-intensive products for our customers. The metallurgists of Stupino face the future with full confidence, – said Vitaly Shmelev.

During the official part of the celebration, the top performers of CMK were granted federal, regional and municipal awards. The celebration continued with wonderful creative gifts prepared for the honorees by the best creative teams of the district and Tatiana Bulanova, the Russian pop star.
