The All-Russia Day of sportsman was celebrated in Stupino. The event was arranged at several sites. Athletes over 18 years of age participated in the competition. It was possible to get a Ready for Labor and Defense badge by passing relevant tests, as well as play football, beach volleyball and draughts.

A bright flash mob took place near the building of the Oka sports and recreation center, the participants of which were the students of martial arts sections, as well as “Begovel”, “Velo”, “Moto”, rhythmic gymnastics and others.

Deputy Head of Administration Yulia Kalinina and Deputy of the Moscow Oblast Duma Andrey Golubev attended this event. They greeted the competion participants and congratulated the trainers and sportsmen with the season’s greetings.

The tug of war became the main spectacular event of the day. In these competitions, the CMK team showed a fierce will to win and took a well-deserved first place.

Our athletes did not rest on their oars and became the undisputed leaders in football competitions. The all-rounders of the Ready for Labor and Defense movement got the garland; their number was good enough for two teams at once. One team brought one more “gold” to the team’s collection, and the second one – “bronze”. Basketball players took the second place at the podium, and the masters of draughts battles also decently upheld the honor of CMK, having won the “silver”. Our volleyball players had the hardest time – the contest was really tough. Eventually, the CMK team was the sixth out of eight possible – there is something yet left to strive for.

The best participants of the competition were officially awarded with valuable prizes, cups and diplomas from the Committee on Physical Culture and Sports of the city district of Stupino.
