After the sports competitions “The Race of CMK’s Friends”, held in September, there were arranged the intellectual competitions, held in the form of a game “LET’S QUIZ” last Friday.

17 teams took part in a quiz reminding of the famous game “What? Where? When?”, – gathered the representatives of various departments of CMK, the Stupino branch of the MAI, technical school named after A.T. Tumanov, Stupino Machine Production Plant (SMPP) and the Metallurg Stadium (Oka Sports School).

At the opening of the “Intellectual race of CMK’s friends”, the participants were greeted by General Director – Director for Technical Development Sergey Alexandrovich Kononov, who highlighted the importance of such events that motivate the team to solve common tactical problems, build team spirit and unite the team.

A comfortable atmosphere, friendly and victory only focused teams, a variety of questions, from simple to the most complicated ones, requiring the knowledge-based efforts of each participant, were the key to victory and a guarantee of good mood.

Collective thinking and effective distribution of roles are often important in such competitions: one player knows music very well, the second – movies, the third – history, the fourth is second to none to quickly give answers to simple questions, and the fifth can clearly track the time so not to get any penalty points. The ability to communicate and quickly find the right answer was the key to success.

- In LET’S QUIZ, colleagues who know each other on a business level reveal their talents and skills in a new fashion. This is especially becomes evident in logic questions, where the involvement of the entire team is required. Informal communication in a good atmosphere is beneficial for the whole team, – notes Alina Volkova, a quiz host.

LET’S QUIZ consists of 7 rounds, where the questions of varying difficulty level and various areas of science, culture, art, social life are asked, which require not only knowledge and logic, but quick thinking as well.

According to the results of the game, the winning 68 points were taken by the team “Smart, Beautiful – End of Story”, which consisted of the employees of the organization of labor and pay department, specialists of the Information Technology Center and Economic Security Department. With a margin of 7 points, the second place was taken by the team “Heart of Sales” of the relevant management department. 54 points and the third place was taken by the team “It all starts with us” of work section 530.

The winners were able to make up for the calories spent in the intellectual battle: they were awarded sweet prizes from the organizers of the quiz. Also, all teams received service medals and diplomas of the game participants. But the main gift for all participants was a great mood, a chance to make new friends, the unified team spirit and the unity of one common team – the team of Stupino metallurgists.
