Dear veterans! Dear metallurgists!

Congratulations on the 78th anniversary of the Victory in the Great Patriotic War!

We always look forward to this holiday — the closest, dearest to the heart of each of us — with special excitement. For almost eight decades now, it has carried joy and pain in itself, recalling that distant May day, when the final point was put in the defeat of Nazi Germany. At the cost of heroic efforts and greatest sacrifices, our people managed to accomplish the seemingly impossible — to destroy the hated enemy and get rid the world of the “brown plague”.

The victory became a symbol of national courage and heroism. And although 78 years separate us from that May event, the feat of the people has no statute of limitations.

We feel a special sense of pride for our country, for our people, for the veterans who withstood the deadly battle with the enemy, performed a labor feat day after day, providing the front with everything necessary. The heroic work of the entire CMK team was appreciated by the highest state award — the Order of V.I. Lenin.

We remember with special respect those who fought — more than a thousand Stupino metallurgists were drafted into the ranks of the army. More than two hundred of them died. 1430 employees of the plant were awarded the medal "For Valiant Labor in the Great Patriotic War of 1941-1945". Four CMK employees were awarded the title of Hero of the Soviet Union, one became a full holder of the Order of Glory. It is important to keep the memory of the feat of the Stupino metallurgists in our hearts forever.

On this significant day, I sincerely wish you happiness, good health, peace to your homes! Let the Victory and the memory of it always be with us — in our hearts, good undertakings, constant and everyday care for the older generation.
