For eight decades, the metallurgical equipment repair shop No. 230 has been operating as CMK part. This is a significant date within the enterprise.
The anniversary, during which the best employees of the division were celebrated, was celebrated as a solemn event in the meeting room of the CMK trade union organization. Much attention was paid to the workshop veterans, each of whom received a memorable gift. And today we recall the important labor milestones of the Shop No. 230.
Since its founding in 1943, the shop has played an important role in the CMK life and activities. During the Great Patriotic War, the repair and mechanical shop did a lot of work on the installation, adjustment and commissioning of equipment after the re-evacuation of the plant from Kamensk-Uralsky to Stupino. Thanks to the heroic home front workers, two months after returning to their native site, the plant began to produce products for the front. The CMK contribution to the Great Victory was highly appreciated at the state level - the team was awarded the highest award of the Motherland - the Order of Lenin.
After the end of the war, the shop was provided with new equipment, the front-line soldiers who returned from the battlefields joined the team. A new stage of its development has begun. The workers of the repair and mechanical shop made a great contribution to the formation and development of new production lines, which were successively put into operation - a profile-pressing and pipe-pressing shops, a shop for special alloys, consumer goods, as well as to the expansion and modification of existing shops. For eight decades, the staff of Shop No. 230 has been an important part of the production life of Stupino metallurgists.
The division's employees are always active participants in the development of not only progressive and efficient methods of equipment repair, but also the creation of new machines and mechanisms, often at the level of specialized machine-building plants. An example of this is the creation of an installation for surfacing parts with a diameter of up to 1500 mm and a length of up to 10 meters, which made it possible to repair the main plungers of hydraulic presses and spindles of rolling mills with the use of the surfacing method. Over the years, craftsmen from shop No. 230 produced a huge amount of various equipment —from the simplest tools, technological equipment to unique vacuum furnaces, modern hydraulic presses and press hammers that have no analogues in the world.
The names of such specialists as designer V.I. Zubkov, Head of Technological Bureau V.A. Mareev, Head of Overhaul Section I.M. Petrenko, leading technologist A.I. Lipsky, master D.A. Trofimov, carousel turner A.I. Bogomazov, turner A.N. Arkhipov, turners —brothers Viktor, Vladimir and Leonid Grishko are inscribed with golden letters in the CMK history. The team has always been headed by highly qualified professionals — V.I. Antonov, D.V. Plotnikov, V.A. Bogomazov, E.M. Vasin, I.A. Miller. And now their work is continued by Head of Shop No. 230 D.A. Barabanov.
Having crossed the 80-year milestone, the metallurgical equipment repair shop has entered a new decade of its development. The focus of the team on results inspires confidence that the division is waiting for new successes and high production achievements.
